NCH Action For Children is one of

has
deep roots in the Methodist tradition,
but serves children and families
regardless of their ethnic origins,
cultural identities or religious faiths.
NCH Action For Children runs family
and
community centres; services for
children with difficulties; child
sexual abuse treatment centres;
young
offender projects; services for young
homeless; residential homes and
schools; and home finding and
adoption
services. It is an international non-
governmental organisation which
works
with children up to 18 years; families
and communities. NCH Action For
Children mainly works within the
European Union and more specifically
in
the United Kingdom. The
organisation
also runs a small number of projects
in
the Caribbean and usually works in
partnership providing services,
technical support, advocacy and
research and information. At present
NCH Action For Children campaigns
are
focusing on youth homelessness
(House
Our Youth 2000), the Internet and
child
protection and domestic violence and
children.
