Development(ICRD) -formerly known
as the Unit for Research and
Education on the Convention on the
Rights of the Child- is part of the
Centre for Global Studies at the
University of Victoria in British
Columbia Canada. This organisation is involved in
different research and education
Projects around the world. In each,
we seek to develop unique
approaches to children's rights that
build on traditional cultural values
and community strengths. Special
emphasis is placed on working with
