EFSCW is committed on a non-profit basis to
the improvement of the rights of children at
risk, particularly street children. As a platform
for lobbying and advocacy towards the EU, it
provides NGOs with information and advice
concerning EU children and youth-related
policies and assistance programmes and
facilitates the exchange of best practice
between them.Main activities:
- Keep members informed about each other's
activities (via the Internet and newsletter)
- Encouraging, facilitating and participating in
joint action such as public information
campaigns
- Advising and briefing politicians, officials and
other key decision-makers
- Organising workshops, seminars and
conferences
- Seeking increased budget allocations EFSCW
