Child Asia is dedicated to the aim of
raising international awarness of the
issues concerning children in Asia;
promoting the convention on the
rights of the child , fostering
cooperation among organisations,
governments, institutions and
individuals to improve the lives of
children and facilitating a regional
network in Asia. Its objectives are
To serve as
A source of news and information on
children in Asia, child development,
education , health care and
activities/ events in Asia
A medium for the expression of
opinions , points of views etc and for
exchange of ideas, insights and
experiences relating to child welfare
and development
A means of encouraging support of,
and action on, the convention on the
rights of the child
A link to create an Asian Regional
Network Center for resource,
support and co-ordination of efforts
concerning child welfare
