Child Rights ASIANET aims to
promote and protect rights of
children in Asia and the Pacific.
It conducts training to enhance
capacity of those involved in the
implementation of the UN Convention
on the Rights of the Child,
establishes network s among policy
makers, law enforcers, media, and
the business sector to promote
awareness of the CRC and its
implementation. It initiates research
to promote action and policy
enshrining children's rights and
provides useful and relevant
information for the media with a view
to increase public awareness of
children's rights issues.

Main areas of work
Juvenile justice, AIDS and child
rights, trafficking in children, child
labour, media ethics and children's
right to privacy.
