Centre for Child Justice and Rehabilitation (CCJR) exists to respond positively and responsibly to the child injustice and by Becoming an agency of promotion, and protection of Child Rights and Justice as well as rehabilitation centre for the victimized children and youth and prevention

We also excise to become and make others the arsenals against child injustice and related child abuses and exploitations. In view of this CCJR shall precisely lead in this fight against child injustice by becoming their voice, instrument of protection, development, survival and empowerment of children and participate, respond positively and responsibly and advocate for the rapid action of combat in child injustice. We shall to take part, initiate and coordinate the rescue and rehabilitation activities/programmes of those who are victims of all elements of child injustice and those yoked with the shackles of oppression, poverty, food insecurity, disease, ignorance and abuse/injustice especially Child labor, violence against children, child abandonment, and negligence, defilement, child trafficking, child prostitution, and other wicked forms of exploitation.

THE MISSION STATEMENT

The Centre for Child Justice and Rehabilitation-CCJR is a Christian, charitable, non profit, non political, interdenominational organisation maneuvered by love, faith, hope ,justice mercy and love of God; to be an agent of demonstrating God’s love, mercy ,care and justice through concrete ,responsible and positive holistic action and intervention to the abused and vulnerable children and youth especially those who were / are been infringed with injustice as inform of in child trafficking, child labour, child prostitution, child exploitation, defilement and any other forms of oppression like poverty, ignorance ,disease, hunger, negligence and abandonment.

Hence we exist to participate in the development, protection and survival of children and youth by calling the world to respond positively and responsibly in the prevention and fight against child injustice by carrying out activities which will develop cultures, laws. policies and behaviors which will prevent all elements which jeorpadise child rights, child development, empowerment, survival and participation through communal and collaborative efforts, initiatives and forces to eliminate child injustice by initiating, mobilising, coordinating, managing and distribution resources and knowledge needed for child development, survival, empowerment and protection .

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANISATION
1. AIM
The CCJR aims at participating in development, growth, empowerment, protection and survival of children and youth by becoming and make others arsenals and shields against child injustice hence be the vehicles and facilitators for child justice, rights, development, participation and survival by embedding the culture of living in the cardinal values and principles of justice, democracy and the love and fear of God

2. OPERATIONAL AND SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To embed the cardinal values and principles of justice, democracy and the love and fear of God with much emphasis on Child rights development, survival, empowerment and participation
2. To combat and prevent child injustice and protect children from child trafficking, child labour, child prostitution, child exploitation, defilement, crime ,violence against children and any other forms of oppression like poverty, ignorance ,disease, hunger, negligence and abandonment.
3. To rescue and rehabilitate such children who have been/were or are traumatized with injustice in forms of child trafficking, child labour, child prostitution, child exploitation, defilement and any other forms of oppression like poverty, ignorance ,disease, hunger, negligence and abandonment by providing transitional relief, restoration, rehabilitation, protection, shelter, food, clothing and counseling
4. To provide free legal assistance and counseling to the victimized children and youth and be their voice in the matters rising concerning the welfare of them and translate and interpret laws, international charters on child rights in layman language and vernacular languages.
5. To raise awareness of negative impact and extent of child injustice by disseminating the accurate and relevant information on child rights and challenges affecting the children through internet, newspapers, radios, television posters and other suitable media and embargo on massive conducting civic education and capacity building training activities in forms seminars/workshops, debates and rallies.
6. To empower, inspire, train and prepare the children and youth to be reliable, useful, responsible, assiduous, conscientious, pious and visionary ,industrious, meticulous, virtuous citizens
7. To be engaged in income generating activities in order to raise money and materials to aid this noble objectives as above and coordinate, manage and distribute such resources

The vision of the organization shall be a vibrant, democratic, loving, responsible, God fearing Child centred society whose children and youth are free from shackles of oppression, abuse, exploitation, violence, crime, poverty, hunger, disease and ignorance.

1. CCJR shall be committed to:
i. Ensuring the child rights are recognized and respected by the state, people, public and private sector, politicians, religious associations or groupings
ii. Ensuring that child rights are regarded, respected and recognized as part and parcel of the laws of the state hence the perpetrators are brought to the court of law
iii. Initiating and implementing projects according to the needs of children and local communities not of CCJR
iv. Providing free legal assistance and counseling and rehabilitation to the victims of child abuse and injustice
v. Providing support that will have a very a long term positive impact on the communities
vi. Encourage the communities to understand and respond responsibly and positively to the needs of children especially the vulnerable and those traumatized with child injustice.
vii. Consolidating humanitarian spirit in the members of communities.
