Canongate Youth Project

CYP aims to offer services to all
young people in Edinburgh between
the ages of 5 - 21 years through the
provision of open youth clubs,
activity groups, single sex work and
work aimed secifically at young
people who may be experiencing
difficulties over and above those that
we might associate with growing up.
CYP runs a Skillseekers Programme
which offers 40 places to 16-18 year
olds in the areas of printing and
reprographics, catering and caring,
and these place are allocated to
young people with special needs
through the Careers Service. CYP
Training services also provides work
experience placements for young
people in their final year of high
school in the above mentioned work
areas.
