Created in January 1991, the African
Association for the Defense of
Human Rights in Congo/Kinshasa
(ASADHO) is a group of young
lawyers, doctors, and journalists.
During the short time since its
founding, ASADHO has established
branches throughout much of the
country and has become one of the
country's leading advocates in
defense of human rights.
