Amnesty International UK, MPG - Military Profession's Group

MPG is a special group of Military
and Ex-military personnel and people
employed by the Military, who use
their knowledge and experience to
campaign on behalf of Human Rights
as laid down in the United Nations
Declaration on Human Rights.
AIMS OF THE MPG - To appeal on behalf of Military and Ex-military personnel who are victims of Human Rights Violations - To approach members of the military responsible for Human Rights abuses, drawing attention to international standards and to the conduct and responsibilities of the Military under International Law. - To improve Human Rights Education within the Military. - To advise Amnesty International UK and the International Secretariat of Amnesty International on Military Matters. - To create a dialogue with similar groups world-wide.
