YEMEN: First Annual Programme on Childhood (16 January 2006)

Summary: Ebhar Corporation for Childhood and Creativity launched its first annual programme for children on March 7 at the Hall of Writers and Intellects Syndicate in Sana'a.
The programme consisted of 22 activities about narrative, poetic and songs lyrics nights and creative arts exhibitions, presented by nearly 75 creative boys and girls as well as intellectual nights presented by specialists in children's literature, and journalism and child's identity songs.

Ebhar Corporation for Childhood and Creativity launched its first annual programme for children on March 7 at the Hall of Writers and Intellects Syndicate in Sana'a.

The program consisted of 22 activities about narrative, poetic and songs lyrics nights and creative arts exhibitions presented by nearly 75 creative boys and girls as well as intellectual nights presented by specialists in children's literature, and journalism and child's identity songs.

In the opening ceremony was the celebration on the child artist / Sameer Al-Karty, who presented his first personal exhibition.

The Zagzagat theatrical band  presented a musical and dancing play, titled, "A visit to the Kingdom of Genes"

The main sponsor of activities was Al-Hana Company.
