UK: Call for evidence - Contribute to State of Children's Rights in England report

Each year CRAE publishes State of Children’s Rights in England, a report which tracks the Government’s progress (in England) against the 2008 concluding observations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. CRAE is seeking your help in compiling the 2013 edition of State of Children’s Rights in England.

If you have information or evidence showing that there have been changes to law, policy or in practice, in relation to the recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child since the 2012 edition of State of Children’s Rights (published in January 2013), please let us know, by emailing CRAE’s Director, Paola Uccellari ([email protected]).

Please give a brief summary of the change, with a link to any supporting document (e.g. report, statistics, legislation, policy document), indicating the concluding observation to which the change relates, and your assessment as to whether this is a positive or negative development for children’s rights. If you have carried out any research in relation to any of the concluding observations please do also send us links to your findings.

The deadline for submitting evidence is 31 August 2013.
