DARFUR: Arabic Website on the Humanitarian Crisis

Cairo, April 13, 2008, On the occasion of the Global Day for Darfur, the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information released a new website in Arabic called "Ifhamdarfur.net" or (Understand Darfur). It collects and provids information and news on the humaniatrian situation in Darfur.

Abdou Abdul-Aziz, the director of Ifhamdarfur website said "decisions may not be made due to the lack of accurate information". The information collected and posted for the Arab journalists and decision makers, because many of them still don't know enough about the issue. We also hope that the website contributes in running Arab dialogue about the issue, in order to identify ways and solutions.
"Ifhamdarfur" will issue a newsletter about Darfur news in Arab press twice a week, as well as a weekly e- newsletter.
