Why do you want to serve on the CRC?

As a team player who has experiences in working with children and adults, I can understand, communicate, and share different ideas. My mission in my country is focused on supporting young children to develop themselves as active participants within the educational system with a strong voice. I would like to broaden that mission to a global scale, helping all the children to access comprehensive early childhood education of universal quality, as is the basic right of all children.

What do you see as important emerging child rights issues that you believe the Committee should be addressing?

’Deficit of nature’, digitalization of childhoods as a global social practice and leisure in virtual communities of all kinds (some of which are not friendly towards children) are the issues that emerge living in postinformational era. New standards are needed based on informational literacy, accessing, using, understanding, and coping with information which should be clear, localy and global.
