Slavery Then, Slavery Now: Engaging Young Africans In Combating Child Trafficking

As the World Marks the Bi-Centenary Anniversary of the Abolition of Slave Trade next year, the Trafficking and Exploitation of African Children continues unabated. This modern day trade in children is an affirmation of the fact that slavery has indeed not ended but is still very much around.

This event will focus specific attention on young Africans in the UK. It will explore their role in preventing child trafficking and safeguarding victims.
