Call for Contributions: UNGA Resolution on Rights of the Child

At its sixty-fifth session, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the rights of the child containing information on the status of the CRC and the issues addressed in the resolution on the rights of the child, with a focus on the rights of children with disabilities.

For more information on the areas the report will focus on, and how you can submit a contribution, click here.

Please note: The deadline for for contributions is 20 May 2011

Participate in the CRC follow-up survey

The NGO Group for the CRC has drawn up a survey to assess the ways in which NGOs follow-up on the Concluding Observations, issued by the Committee on the Rights of the Child, after each State review.

The aim of the survey is to achieve a greater understanding of how NGOs use Concluding Observations, and more specifically, find both examples of successful follow-up strategies adopted by NGOs and also learn about the challenges they face.

        NGO input vital

Your survey responses will help the NGO Group develop a strategy to support NGOs in this area. The greater the NGO participation in this survey, the more effectively the NGO Group will be able to share information with the child rights community.

        Complete survey
