CRIN will not rent, sell or make available your personal information to any third party unrelated to CRIN, other than where the law requires it or where we have sought and been given your specific permission to do so. As CRIN is based in the United Kingdom, we comply with UK data protection legislation currently in force.
2. What information we collect and how we use it
CRIN collects and retains information you voluntarily submit to us through our newsletter subscription form and by contacting us by email. It is up to you whether to submit information to us and how much you provide. If you submit personal information through our info@crin.org email address, it will be read by one member of staff and may be shared with other members of staff. If you subscribe to our free electronic newsletters, we collect your email address and other personal data such as your IP address may be gathered by MailChimp and governed by their own data protection policies.
CRIN uses cookies (small text files) that our site may place on your computer as a tool to remember your preferences. CRIN uses social media and social networking services to advance our work. These applications require the use of third party service providers. We have a Facebook page and a Twitter feed.
The Twitter account we use is administered by Twitter, in accordance with Twitter’s privacy policy.
The Facebook page is administered by Facebook, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Protection Policy, and is accessible to Facebook users who have already consented to Facebook’s data policy. We do not export information on our followers from the Facebook platform.
4. Your acceptance of our privacy policy
By using this Site and/or submitting your information to us, you consent to CRIN keeping and using such information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
