MIGRANT CHILDREN: Committee releases report from Day of General Discussion

Summary: The Committee on the Rights of the Child has released its report further to the 2012 Day of General Discussion.

Further to the Committee on the Rights of the Child's Day of General Discussion - the 2012 theme focusing on the rights of children in the context of international migration - a summary report has been released highlighting the outcomes of the day.

During the course of the day participants divided into two working groups, one to discuss an international framework on the rights of children in international migration situations and the other to consider national measures for the implementation of the rights of children in international migration situations.
