Summary: Information about institutions in Yemen that monitor children's rights.

Children's Ombudsperson

Both the Ministry of Human Rights and Centre for Child Rights were established in 2005 by Presidential Decree, but the two are not formally related. The Centre is not independent from the Government, and there is no other formal, independent body to monitor children's rights or receive individual or collective complaints from children relating to human rights violations.
