Summary: Information about institutions in the United States that monitor children's rights.

Children's Ombudspersons

According the United States based National Conference of State Legislatures, twenty-two of the United States have established a Children's Ombudsperson or Office of the Child Advocate with duties or purposes specifically related to children. A further five States have Ombudsperson programmes to address the concerns of all government agencies, including with regards to children's issues and nine States have related Ombudsperson service or county run programmes.
