We would like to invite you to take part in our public consultation (closing 12 March 2012) on “Obtaining the Child Friendly Product Certificate – A Guide.”

ChildFinance is a global movement aiming to provide high quality financial education and safe and reliable financial access to 100 million children in 100 countries by 2015 through its network of partners from across a wide range of sectors.

The last two years Child Finance has worked with stakeholders globally to develop the Child Friendly Product Certificate – the first-ever global standard for safe and reliable Banking Products for children & youth. The Guide is the outcome of this process, and this draft version contains the benefits, procedures, and criteria for financial institutions wishing to obtain the Certificate.

Child and Youth Finance International highly values your expert views. You are invited to provide your suggestions and feedback by emailing us directly at ([email protected]). The final version of the Guide will be published on our website and in our newsletter, and be presented at the ChildFinance Summit on 3-4 April, 2012.

We would like to kindly request you to please forward this invitation to all your relevant contacts, members, and/or stakeholders, and if possible include the suggested text in your newsletter or website announcements.
