Children's Ombudsperson

Norway has a specific Ombudsman for Children under the Act 5 of 6 March 1981. The Committee on the Rights of the Child expressed regret, however, that recent reforms had not extended to the inclusion of a power to receive complaints from children within the mandate of the Ombudsman.
