Summary: Information about institutions in Lebanon that monitor children's rights.

Children's Ombudsperson

The establishment of a National Human Rights Institution and a specific children's ombudsperson has been under consideration for some time, and the Committee on the Rights of the Child made recommendations urging the State to do so in 1996, 2002 and 2006. At the time of writing, however, no such body had been created.
