Keeping the Promise? A study of progress made in implementing the UNGASS Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS in seven countries

Summary: Five years ago UN member states agreed to a landmark Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS to halt and reverse the epidemic by 2010. This week governments are reporting on the progress they have made. In a major new report the Panos Global AIDS Programme asks whether Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Haiti, Latvia, Malawi, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are keeping the promise.
