If in your reading of children's rights you come across words like ‘scaffolding’, ‘drill down’ and 'heavy lifting', don't worry -- you're (probably) not reading instructions on how to build a house. Unfortunately, you may in fact be looking at a report on children's education.
Simply put, 'scaffolding' refers to the support given to a child by a more experienced person, for example a teacher; 'drill down' means examining data in greater detail; while 'heavy lifting' means exactly what it says on the tin.
When writing your next report, remember that it shouldn't be a construction manual. So in future, leave the construction work to builders.
