The Committee is considering the wording of an amendment to the Irish Constitution to strengthen children’s rights. The Alliance hope that their submission, and those from other children’s organisations in Ireland, will help the Committee to come to an agreement on robust provisions that will further children’s rights in Ireland.

The 28th Amendment of the Constitution Bill is the Bill that the Committee will be scrutinising with a view to rewording. It can be found at http://www.oireachtas.ie/documents/bills28/bills/2007/1407/b1407d.pdf
