INTER-AMERICAN SYSTEM: Rights of the Child in the Inter-American System of Human Rights - 2nd edition

[WASHINGTON D.C, 18 May 2009] – The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) has published the second edition of “The Rights of the Child in the Inter-American Human Rights System,” first published in 2002.

This edition sets out the current status of the inter-American instruments, mechanisms and decisions on the rights of children. The book includes a CD-ROM with the complete texts of instruments in the inter-American and universal systems related to children; the decisions adopted by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights on cases involving children; as well as information on how to access to the inter-American system.
