countries, making for great diversity of family life: in patterns of
parenting , marriage , kin relationships and responsibilities, child
rearing and the parts played by older people in the family.

Chinese, Filipino, Greek , the differences between recent and
older immigrant groups, the choices families are making in
response to changing social and economic environments and how
