Documentation of the European Conference “Children First and Foremost”

Summary: In September 2000, the 1st joint Save the Children & UNHCR conference in Sweden on separated children was held. The objective was to make recommendations for best practice of asylum procedures for separated children in EU member states and elsewhere in Europe. This report contains all the speeches held at the conference, & a complete listing of the recommendations.
