A Critical Analysis of CRC Reporting Trends and Implementation Status in Bangladesh

Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Bangladesh’s periodic report on the implementation of the CRC. It critically analysed trends regarding central themes of the CRC—survival, development, protection and participation of children—from a review of government reports and shadow reports of NGOs and development partners. Note that the other principles of the CRC—non-discrimination, accountability, and best interest of children—were examined in this study as cross-cutting issues. The study identifies gaps in the implementation process and suggests measures to overcome weaknesses. pdf: http://www.crin.org/docs/Bangladesh_STC_NGO_Report.pdf
