Children's Ombudsperson

Belarus does not have a children's ombudsperson or equivalent instution.  The Committee on the Rights of the Child has recommended that the government establish an ombudsman system with an independent complaints procedure to examine violations of children's rights and, where appropriate, to provide remedies for violations found.
