AFRICA: Strengthening child protection systems in sub-Saharan Africa

The purpose of the working paper on strengthening child protection systems in sub-Saharan Africa is to consolidate current thinking, examples and lessons learnt about child protection system strengthening and suggest ways forward. the target audience includes government leaders, national policy-makers, local government authorities, traditional authorities, UN agencies and other multilaterals, regional organisations in sub-Saharan Africa, bilateral and private donors, educators, researchers, international and local NGOs, community representatives and civil society – including children’s groups.
