WORD was incepted in the year 1985. WORD has got its statutory recognition in the year 1988. WORD spreads its activities in all spheres and its integrated approach helps the over all development of women, children and the society. All the programmes of WORD are people's programme and with their fullest participation at every stages. We at WORD strongly believe in the strength of people especially women and children. WORD focuses its current activities primarily in Namakkal district and partially in Salem and Erode Districts of Tamilnadu, South India.
