those who care for and work with
young children from birth. Tree runs non-formal in-service
training courses and workshops
throughout KwaZulu Natal and
supports course participants by
visiting them at their sites on a
regular basis. Tree also works in
communities with parents and
committees, produces and supplies
toys and equipment and participates
actively in local, provinicial and
national policy projects and
discussions on health, education,
