The Resource Centre at IIED aims to
be a key resource for information
relating to participatory methods and
has a section on children's
participation.The Resource Centre operates a
drop-in visitor service (by
appointment only) as well as a range
of information delivery services
(including a document delivery
service). With over 2,500 references
relating to participatory
methodologies, such as Participatory
Rural Appraisal (PRA), Méthode Active
de Récherche et Plannification
Participative (MARP), Participatory
Action Research (PAR) etc, the
collection includes a section on
participation with children and young
people. The collection is available for
on-line browsing (bibliographic
information only) at
www.iied.org/resource. The
Resource Centre is also part of the
Resource Centres for Participatory
Learning and Action (RCPLA)
Network - which links 15 like-minded
organisations around the world who
seek to share information about
