The National Deaf Childrens Society

children and young people to

their skills and abilities. NDCS works
to remove all the barriers which
hinder

all aspects of deafness, information
about hearing aids and hearing

advice on technology and equipment

home, support with benefit claims

appeal tribunals, advice and
information on education, support at
special educational tribunals, a
teacher of the deaf scholarship, a
project developing the support
available to ethnic minority deaf
children and their families, a youth
service, a festival of Performing Arts,
a mental health research and
prevention
programme, a wide variety of
publications for children and families
and a 'listening bus' travelling the
country with technology..
