INDRA, launched in the 1980's at the
University of Amsterdam, is an
interdisciplinary institute dedicated
to development studies.
Its research and education programs deal with local and global dimensions of North-South relations. INDRA conducts and stimulates inter- disciplinary research and offers a platform for researchers and practitioners working in the field of childhood gender and environment in the developing world.
