Estrela aims to give practical support
to community initiatives in Brazil
which help street children and
shanty town communities, to raise
awareness about development
issues and promote cross cultural
exchange. Estrela seeks to improve
the quality of life of disadvantaged
communities via the development of
youths and community arts. Primary areas of work: Non formal education programmes with children outside the mainstream system - e.g. literacy, rights, health, arts.
