The main thrust of CWES is to protect and promote the Rights of Women and Children and upgrade their standards of living.

ACTIVITIES/ SERVICES
 Awareness Raising and Civic Education Programmes on Human Rights issues

 Advocacy for (a) Women, Children and Youths Rights and legal reforms
(b) Free Education and Scholarships for Children and (c) Cessation of Women and Children trafficking.

 Collaborating with the Local Police Partnership Board and Stake holders in Communities in crime prevention and conflict resolution strategies.

 Providing Humanitarian assistance to Internally Displaced Persons (I.D.P’s) and facilitating their return.

 Facilitating the establishment of community schools.

 Encouraging and placement of youths (Drop-outs) in established skill training centers.

 Establishing kids clubs in schools e.g. (1) Pupils Police (Pup’s) clubs (to reduce violence in schools) and (2) Science clubs.

 Investigating cases of Human Rights abuses, and ensuring that perpetrators are brought to justice.

 Providing remedies and reparations to victims of Human Rights abuses.

 Conducting Action Research on psycho-social programmes and peace building.

 Sensitization Programmes to increase participation of Women and Youths in Politics.

 Workshop on Democratic Rights with the aim of sensitizing the electorate to uphold democratic principles

 Establishing domestic savings and credit schemes for women
