SURVEY: How do European NGOs support children to engage in European and international decision-making?

Funded by the European Commission, the Children's Rights Alliance for England is carrying out a research project looking at the extent of children's involvement in European and international decision-making. This project is being carried out with partners in Austria, Estonia, Ireland, the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Russia.

Through this survey, we want to find out how European NGOs support children (those aged 17 and under) to engage in decision-making processes at European and international level. Along with a literature review and research with children, the information we collect will help us pull together a picture of how children can effect change across Europe and inform recommendations to the European Commission on achieving the effective engagement of children in decision-making.

The information you provide in completing this short survey will not be attributed to individual organisations. If you would like to receive a summary of the findings, please tick the box at the end of the survey. The findings from the project will be published in 2011.
