Blus Veins is sorry to inform you that Mr. Shafiullah Khan a human right
activist and currently working as Social Organiser in teh project of Blue
Veins to Eliminate Violence Against women has been admitted to hospital
in a critical condition.
Mr. Shafiullah Khan was in the office of Political Agent (PA) Khyber Agency
when a man Mohammad Noor took out a gun and start shooting at Mr.
Shafiullah Khan without any known reason. Shafiullah was shot in both
arms, right shoulder, left leg while a bullet just passed him touching his
neck. He is hospitalised and his situation is critical.
The Khasadars of Political Agent have arrested the Man with the gun.
Shafiullah Khan is the father of five daughters and the only one supporting
his family.
Blue Veins requests all friends to pray for the health and recovery of
Shafiullah Khan. The incident raises so many questions over the security
conditions of an ordinary person in NWFP. There is a serious security issue
if a person can successfully deceive the security and manage to take a
weapon in a very sensitive area like the office of Political Agent Khyber
Agency.
