Summary: President Mwai Kibaki appointed 5 new
ambassadors and high Commissioners. He
also announced the appointment of Dennis
Afande, a career diplomat, as the Chairperson
of the National Council for Children's Services
for 3 years. This is great news to the children
service providers in Kenya as the council plays
an important role in spearheading children's
rights in the country.
