Children Artwork Competition

Summary: The ICBL's Mine Risk Education Sub-Working
Group invites children ages 8-12 to enter "A
Mine-Free World: The Vision of Today's
Children, Through the Eyes of our Children," a
drawing contest being organized in the lead-
up to the Nairobi Summit.

Children are asked to submit drawings
addressing the question "What does a
Mine-Free World mean to me?" Entries will be exhibited at the UN Conference Centre in Nairobi,
Kenya during the upcoming Nairobi Summit as part of the
ICBL's "Wanted: A Mine-Free World" exhibition.

Guidelines:
- Use letter-size or A4 paper.
- Drawings using felt pens, paint, pencils, crayons, markers, etc.
will be accepted.
- Each drawing should include the child's name, age and country.
- A short description of the drawing and a photo of the child
should accompany each submission.

All entries must be received by 1 October 2004.

Prizes may be awarded to winning entries.

Please note that the drawings will not be returned and the ICBL
and the LMRC reserve the right to use them in publications,
