Objectives of the workshop:


1. Understand the role of a multidisciplinary team, including the roles of law enforcement, child protective services, and the legal system in the evaluation of abuse cases.


2. Address relevant factors in detecting, reporting and managing child physical and sexual abuse.


3. Tackle problems facing inter-agency cooperation.


4. Highlight the importance of policies and procedures, in the detection and management of child abuse.
