Read the final report on child rights at the 131st session
[WASHINGTON, D.C., 28 February 2007] - The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) will hold its 131st session at its headquarters in Washington, D.C. from 3 to 14 March 2008. During the session, the IACHR will analyse petitions, cases, precautionary measures.
The Commission will also hear general and thematic public hearings on human rights issues. The Regroupement des Citoyens pour la Protection des Droits Humains will present a hearing on child trafficking and violence against women in Haiti. Child rights will also feature in a number of other human rights hearings. See the full list of hearings here.
