First International Congress on Child Migration

Summary: The 1st International Congress on
Child Migration will be a multi-
disciplinary, multi-professional,
International event. This is a long
awaited development to discuss and
debate the many implications of child
migration and its contemporary
resonance in our local and global
communities.
The Child Migrants Trust, the International Association of Former
Child Migrants and their Families (IAFCM&F) and Nottinghamshire
County Council invite you to attend and submit proposals for
papers, workshops, exhibitions and poster presentations at the
1st International Congress on Child Migration.

The Congress will be of interest to scholars, practitioners and
policy makers from the fields of Social Policy, Social Work,
Sociology, Health, Human Geography, Ethics, Anthropology and
Psychology. The Congress welcomes interdisciplinary
perspectives which consider Child Migration within the contexts of
Child Welfare, Childhood Development, Mental Health, Human
Rights, Slavery, Refugees, Personal Identity, Secondary and
