This small meeting (21-23 May) is designed to bring together corporate leaders who have already shown a commitment to corporate social responsibility or commitment to the future of young people in their society. This would include senior executives of major corporations, possibly also representatives of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce.
There will be interaction and overlap between this meeting and the Regional High Level Consultation which takes place from 22-23 May (Kathmandu), which is subtitled "A South Asian Imperative: Investing in Children", and is sponsored together with UNICEF. That related meeting will include delegations led by the Minister of Finance or the Minister of Planning. A third related meeting is the Workshop for Young Change Makers (19-24 May) ,organized with Save the Children Alliance.
