Opportunities for child rights advocates
Reporting to treaty bodies beyond the Committee on the Rights of the Child presents an opportunity for advocates to raise and press home children's rights issues.
NGOs can submit reports to the Committee prior to the reviews of the above States. The written information submitted by NGOs or NHRIs to the Committee for the examination of the State party's report must be received no later than two weeks before the opening of the session. The Committee will not accept any written information after this deadline.
