Dear Madam or Sir, On behalf of Webster University Geneva, it is our pleasure to invite you to Media Trends 2013: “Challenging Crossroads:Children and the Media.” The event will take place at Webster University from April 8 to April 10. Webster University Geneva is an independent, non-profit worldwide institution that aims to ensure high quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence. Our vision is built on a foundation of excellence in teaching and enhanced by an international perspective that fosters dialogue, respect and understanding across boundaries and between peoples. This vision is reflected in our conference program which features 50 speakers coming from 15 countries, representing the continents of North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Presenters from academia, media production companies, children’s rights NGOs and international organizations will cover some of the vital issues and concerns related to children and the media.
