Call for information: HRC special session on the human rights situation in the OPT

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is pleased to transfer the note verbale in relation to the convening of a special session of the Human Rights Council on the human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, on Wednesday, 23 July 2014, at a time to be determined, in Room XX at the Palais des Nations.

Pursuant to paragraph 124 of the annex to Human Rights Council resolution 5/1, the President shall hold an open-ended informative consultation before the special session on its conduct and organization on Tuesday morning, 22 July 2014, at a time to be determined, in Room XX at the Palais des Nations.

 

NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC wishing to submit written statements for the Special Session are invited to contact [email protected] for submission guidelines.
