AFRICA: 4th Civil Society Forum on the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child

Summary: The 4th Civil Society Forum on the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child will be staged in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 18 - 20 March 2011.

The forum brings together children's rights organisations from across Africa to discuss ways of promoting compliance with the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child. This forum will focus on "Children without Appropriate Care", in line with the theme of this year's Day of the African Child.

The Forum is open to all those interested in children’s rights and wellbeing in Africa.
